Marriage of Figaro
Pierre Augustin Beaumarchais
Comedy in two acts

ñïåêòàêëü òåàòðà «Studio 711»

Comedy by Pierre Beaumarchais, presented by the “Pirogovites”, will not leave anyone indifferent. While maintaining the classical form, the performance is filled with modern intonations. Matching the young actors, the production turned out to be energetic, effective, infectiously cheerful and light. The elegance of Maxim Obrezkov’s scenography was emphasized by the inspired music of Gioachino Rossini, Domenico Scarlatti, Jean Baptiste Lully, and Christophe Gluck.
Of course, we can say that this play is about friendship, injustice, social problems, but it is also about how, among the cheerful and comical, the difficult fate of a person is hidden, after learning about which, we no longer find it funny. In addition, this play is about relationships between men and women, about trust and crazy love, because without it there would be nothing. Without her, this Crazy Day, or “The Marriage of Figaro,” would not have happened.
